About us
The UK MacGregor Owners Association (MOA), which is affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association, is an independent organisation of mainly MacGregor yacht owners. We also welcome owners of other trailer-sailers, and have several members who own other makes of boat. Membership is open to owners, prospective owners, former owners, and others interested in trailer-sailer yachts, in particular those built by MacGregor. The Association was formed on 10th January 1992 and currently has around 150 members.
Our aims
- To provide a newsletter and website for members to inform them of matters concerning MacGregor and other yachts and to provide a channel for the exchange of views.
- To encourage the organisation of events aimed at increasing the enjoyment of members in the use of their boats. This includes rallies & social events.
- To disseminate information on technical development within the MacGregor and trailer-sailer yachts community.
